When you are pushing your Polaris Xpedition to it's limits in deep mud or rough terrain you don't want your machine to have any weak links. That is why High Lifter Portal Gear Lifts are engineered from the ground up to deliver unmatched strength and long-term durability. Giving you the confidence to hit that next mud hole or tackle that next trail.
Industry Leading Strength
All High Lifter Portal Gear Lifts are manufactured with forged gear boxes for added strength compared to cast and billet boxes.
The forging process aligns the grain structure of the aluminum with the shape of the box giving it improved resistance to fatigue and cracking.
This increased strength provides better resistance to impact and the stress of extreme torque loads.
The forging process produces a stronger box and provides more worry-free miles than any other portal on the market.
All gears are CNC machined from heat treated steel for excellent fitment and increased overall strength
All backing plates use 5/16" steel plate with bent flanges and welded gussets for added strength and durability
Long-term Durability
Assembled with high-density Kevlar fiber gaskets that are oil and coolant resistant for a perfect seal
Dual seals on the output shaft provide 100% more sealing area and prevent oil from leaking out and water from creeping in
Triple seals on the input include a wiper seal that provides an extra layer of protection
Keeping the inside of the boxes free of debris is the name of the game when it comes to extending the life of your gears and keeping your portals running smoothly
Dual Idler Performance
Adding a second idler gear into the gear box helps spread the load and reduces stress on the gears by 50%
Adding a gear evenly distributes the load over twice as many teeth giving you more reliable torque transfer and reduces the wear on the gears
Portal Gear Lift Benefits
Portals help improve your ground clearance without having to change the suspension geometry by moving the lift to the hubs
The internal gear reduction will prolong drivetrain health by reducing the stress of running larger tires and heavy aftermarket accessories
Portal gear lifts can also extend the life of your brakes thanks to improved engine braking performance
High Lifter Portals come with precision ground stainless steel rotors that are slotted for improved cooling
Universal hubs are designed to be compatible with multiple bolt patterns giving you the freedom to run wheels with a different bolt pattern than your factory wheels
Backing plates are designed to work with any control arm that is built to the factory hub specifications.
