Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to install a rear frame stiffener on my Xpedition with portals? We highly recommend installing both a front and rear frame stiffener on any machines with portals installed. The added weight of the portal gear boxes puts unwanted stress on your frame that can be addressed with a frame stiffener.
Can installing a rear frame stiffener help when carrying heavier gear? A frame stiffener won’t increase your load capacity. However, a frame stiffener will strengthen your frame reducing and strain that is caused by carrying increased weight.
Strengthen your Xpedition and be prepared for whatever the trail throws your way.
